The Cellar Door gives the guest a feeling of finding a special place within, yet away from Cairo. The surroundings are warm and the walls lined with Katie Hollamby’s fine art photography. Her photos are perspectives of Cairo her view is unique and fresh. Her photography ties in well with the overall ambiance of this inimitable Bistro.

Condetti, a recently opened restaurant on Street 82 ( just round the corner from Abou Sid on Street 7 ), may not have the most central location in Maadi, but those prepared to make the journey over the Metro lines will be rewarded with wonderful food and great service in tasteful and comfortable surroundings.
